PRESS RELEASE | MARCH 2020
SIDO 2020 postponed to 3rd and 4th September 2020
Lyon, 5th March 2020 ‐ As a result of the decree of 4th March 2020 prohibiting any event simultaneously bringing together over 5,000 people in enclosed environments on the French territory until 31st May 2020, 656 Editions, the organising company of SIDO initially planned for 12th and 13th May 2020, has rescheduled the event for 3rd and 4th September 2020 at the Lyon Congress Centre.
Pierre Mirlit, SIDO’s Commissioner General, explained: “This important decision has been made in close cooperation with numerous partners. Our ambition is to put on a high-quality event for all attendees without neglecting any safety issues. By postponing the show until September without modifying its usual configuration, SIDO 2020 will offer the entire IoT, AI and Robotics ecosystem the opportunity to do business with ideal conditions after the summer break.
The members of the organising team remain at the disposal of all the SIDO 2020 stakeholders and will offer them optimal support during the postponement.
SIDO (#SIDO2020) is Europe’s leading event for the convergence of IoT, AI and Robotics technologies. It brings together 11,000 professionals over two days, with more than 450 exhibitors and 80 talks and workshops conducted by 250 speakers. It will be held for the sixth time on 3rd and 4th September at the Lyon Congress Center. SIDO is a trade show organised by 656 Editions, a subsidiary of the Infopro Digital group, and is strictly limited to professionals. For further information, please go to: www.sido-event.com
